I have already paid the vehicle license tax , why am I still receiving a fine warning me to pay the above tax?

If the owner and user of the transportation vehicle has failed to pay the vehicle license tax, they will be fined an extra 1 percent of your vehicle license tax for every two days passed(A maximum to 15%). For vehicles that are found on the road after failing to pay the outstanding fines, will have to pay the remainder of the fees plus an additional fine equaling the original fee amount to the taxing authority. For cases that have not been reported or found on the road will not be fined, thus for vehicles that have cleared their payments after reported of outstanding fees will still receive a fine.
