A catering company in Hsinchu had long failed to pay labor insurance, health insurance, and employee pension contributions totaling over NT$4.35 million.
The company’s owner also owed nearly NT$500,000 in personal taxes. After the case was transferred to the Hsinchu Branch of the Administrative Enforcement Agency, the obligor missed the payment deadlines and failed to comply with an installment plan. The branch revoked the installment agreement and seized the obligor’s bank deposits and accounts receivable, recovering over NT$4.17 million. The remaining balance was then paid directly by the obligor. In total, NT$4.85 million was successfully recovered, demonstrating the branch’s strong enforcement capabilities and commitment to protecting workers’ rights.
