Items auctioned included a 2000 heavy-duty truck (NT$30,000), a parcel of land in Hsinchu City (NT$4,500), and the capital interest in a local limited company, sold for NT$12.5 million. The obligor, a prominent technology entrepreneur based in Hsinchu, had accumulated over NT$500 million in unpaid taxes and penalties. This successful auction demonstrated the branch’s firm commitment to enforcing high-value cases.

In conjunction with the auction, the branch also promoted anti-fraud awareness by playing educational videos and displaying posters, underscoring the importance of “preventing, identifying, and penalizing fraud.”
